FP&A Manager

Location: Remote or Brookfield, CT

Position Overview: ROMTech is now looking for a highly analytical and strategic-minded FP&A Manager to join our team. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. The FP&A Manager will evaluate the financial performance of the company by compiling data, creating reports, and presenting complex financial information and analysis to leadership. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles and strong analytical skills. This is a full-time, remote or onsite (Brookfield, CT) opportunity, reporting directly to our Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate company performance, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, long-term planning, risk/opportunity assessments, and periodic/ad hoc reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and support decision-making processes.
  • Review data quality; produce and track KPIs.
  • Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations.
  • Analyze operational performance and identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
  • Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and long-term financial plans, that are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.

Requirements:

    • Proven experience (10+ years) in financial planning, analysis, or related roles.
    • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial software (e.g., advanced Excel, FP&A platforms, ERP systems, data analysis tools, etc.).
    • Provide a level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
    • Ability to pay attention to detail and successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
    • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
    • Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset.
    • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFP is a plus.
    • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
    • Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio)
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
    • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
