Operations Manager, Cardiac

Position Overview: We are now looking for an Operations Manager for our Cardiac Rehab program. Reporting directly to the VP, Clinical Services, the Operations Manager oversee all administrative and operational functions for the Clinical Services/Cardiac Rehab division. This includes managing the patient coordinator team and cardiac rehab tech support. The Operations Manager, Cardiac, will be accountable for all reporting, data analysis and KPI management across the cardiac business. Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire patient and referring provider relationship from script arrival to the start of our clinical services.
  • Lead the cardiac program team by providing guidance, performance feedback, and resources.
  • Manage all aspects of the technology interactions between our Cardiac Rehab Specialists (CRS) team, patients and referring physicians.
  • Responsible for informing feedback loop to our software and engineering teams, while managing the front-line teams who collect feedback.
  • Accountable for all aspects of reporting, metrics and KPIs. Identify areas for improvement, implement process enhancements, and support operational excellence.
  • Design and manage efficient systems that provide accurate reporting for executive leadership with minimal adjustments or data manipulation.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cardiac care, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance program effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree, preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience managing clinical services, telehealth or provider operations, in either a start-up or fast-growing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience managing front-line teams, including admins, entry level employees, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a roll up one’s sleeves mentality.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in healthcare information systems and technology applications.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
