Associate Orthopedics Sales Director, DME Sales and Operations

Location: Remote, (Nationwide Territory)

ROMTech is looking for an exceptional, senior level sales individual to bring on board as the Associate Orthopedics Sales Director, DME who will be responsible for managing all aspects of ROMTech DME Sales and Operations. This person will work directly with all ROMTech Departments as the main point of contact responsible for our DME Business. The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure the continued success of the Portable Connect across DME Orthopedics, while minimizing barriers to access. The right candidate will create genuine, trusting relationships with our DME Partners, internal team members, and potential new partners to drive ROMTech’s sales strategy. This is a primarily remote role that may require minimal travel reporting to the U.S. National Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Help lead, manage, and develop our DME Business. As an Associate Sales Director, DME at ROMTech, you are in charge of driving revenue from our DME’s and helping develop our DME Business and operations. To exceed territory market share objectives, you’ll analyze market information, identify, and meet with new partners and improve and implement new processes to ensure success. You’ll prepare, monitor, and manage budgets and expenditures. Knowing that relationships are key to success in sales, you’ll build ongoing partnerships with our DME partners and internal relationships with our cross functional teams.

This position will have 5 primary responsibilities:

  1. Grow the DME business across the United States and be the main representative for DME Business to all ROMTech Departments (sales and operations).
  2. Lead strategic initiatives for the DME Business within the Orthopedics sales team.
  3. Continue to hold the role of – ROMTech’s leader in understanding and representing the Medical Assistant/Ordering Contact customer stakeholder. (MA NPS)
  4. Lead and Improve our DME Operations to streamline all processes to improve relationships with our DME Partners.
  5. Work in between Sales Leadership and Operations to improve and grow our DME Business.

Additional Responsibilities to Include:

  • You will play a vital role in bringing on new DME partners and terminating underperforming DME partners.
  • You will work with the sales team to formulate sound business justification for the decisions you want to make.
  • Identify, develop, and execute business opportunities by focusing on appropriate positioning and messaging of ROMTech products within our DME Partners.
  • Identify, resolve, and communicate dispensing and/or product access issues or trends our DME Partners.
  • Improve communication with our DME Partners.
  • Proactively identify potential marketplace trends/barriers within DME Partners as well as overall payor landscape and handle any identified reimbursement, coverage issues and market access challenges.
  • Strategically deploy resources (individual skills and company resources) throughout the lifecycle of the account relationship to maximum impact within the account. Specifically, write and maintain the playbook for managing an account during the trial, growth, and maintenance phases.
  • Possess strong clinical acumen that can be delivered in a compelling manner that ensures optimal access.
  • Ability to clearly articulate value proposition of ROMTech products.
  • Exercise sound judgment and oversight to ensure integrity and compliance with company. policies in all activities and communications.
  • Adhere to defined and appropriate ROMTech compliance guidelines, policies, and procedures.
