Junior Analyst, Sales Operations

Position Overview:

ROMTech is now looking for a Junior Analyst to join our growing Orthopedic Sales Operations team! The Junior Analyst, Sales Operations, plays a pivotal role in supporting the Orthopedic Sales team and optimizing sales processes in our CRM. The Junior Analyst, Sales Operations, is responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting to our Orthopedic Sales executives and ROMTech’s leadership. This includes but is not limited to ensuring accuracy and completeness within our CRM and sales-related databases, developing, and maintaining dashboards as well as other resources which support the growth of our Orthopedic Sales team. This position works closely with our Orthopedic Sales executives to ensure territory alignment, leads and customer assignments are up to date within our CRM. The Junior Analyst, Sales Operations will provide the sales team with actionable insights, while streamlining operations, and contributing to achieving sales targets. This is a full-time, remote opportunity, reporting directly to the Manager, Sales Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for our CRM (Insightly) issues, integrations, improvements, and process documentation for the Orthopedic Sales team.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness within the Insightly and any other sales-related database.
  • Conduct regular Insightly data audits and validations to maintain high-quality data integrity.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining training resources for Insightly.
  • Train sales staff on Insightly best practices and review SOPs on an as-needed basis, including any necessary re-trainings as procedures change.
  • Quality check and correct sales teams’ data input into Insightly to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of the sales team, as well as validity of the source of truth for physicians.
  • Identify and implement improvements in sales processes and workflows within Insightly to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare, review for accuracy, and present sales performance reports on a regular basis.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights to the sales team and management.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining BI dashboards in Insightly, Power BI or other BI visualization tools for the sales team and leadership.
  • Collect and analyze prescription forecasts in regular reporting.
  • Assist in developing, executing, and maintaining lead generation strategies including partner referrals, investor referrals, web scraping, purchased lead lists, etc.
  • Assist in managing lead funnel maintenance to ensure any leads marked with incorrect contact data are then data-mined or web-scraped to obtain contact information to allow the sales team to move leads through the sales funnel.
  • Manage territories for the sales team by creating and adjusting state and zip code-level territory assignment configurations within Insightly, territory map creation and distribution, and any adjustments necessary to ensure proper leads and customer assignments.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales & Marketing staff as assigned.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, propose and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years sales of experience (medical device sales preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Expert project and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects with varying deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work without supervision.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to situations as they arise by making educated decisions in a fast/complex and deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM Insightly.
  • Expert Microsoft 365 skills, including Power BI and Excel).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio)
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
