ROMTech is now looking for experienced Logistics Schedulers to join our growing team. The Logistics Scheduler will coordinate the delivery of our medical device to patients’ homes. This position will engage with our patients and 3rd Party Logistics (3PLs) on a daily basis.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm onsite position at our Clearwater, FL location.
Responsibilities:
- Engage patients with a scripted set of questions.
- Coordinate patient deliveries and pickups with 3PLs
- Operate as the direct point of contact for 3PLs on day-to-day basis.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and/or complaints as they arise.
- Collaborate with the regional logistics and warehouses teams.
- Schedule internal staff according to location and/or workload.
- Organize workflow and appointments through our ERP.
- Utilize our ERP to notate details of all internal and external communications.
- Open communication with other departments for schedule changes to allow for effective time management.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect Operations by keeping information confidential.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Computer skills, including Microsoft 365, ERP, preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Detail oriented – no really, it’s critical to the success of this position!
- Ability to collaborate inter-departmentally to solve challenges.
- Interpersonal – ability to effectively communicate and complete task.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Prior scheduling or dispatch experience, preferred.
- Experience with logistics, distribution, or transportation, preferred.
- Phone system network.
- Customer Service experience.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
- Moderate noise (i.e., phone calls, online meetings, computer audio)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
