ROMTech Headquarters Welcomes Local and State Leaders for Informative Tour and Roundtable Discussion

Brookfield, CT, May 21, 2024 – ROMTech, creator of the PortableConnect® Adaptive Telemed Technology and leader in orthopedic rehabilitation medicine, was honored to recently host a distinguished group of local and state community leaders for a comprehensive tour of its headquarters in Brookfield, Connecticut, followed by a roundtable discussion.

The tour, led by ROMTech leaders including CEO Peter Arn and Board Member Edwin Dearborn, showcased the company’s recent expansions and highlighted its remarkable growth in recent years. With 600 employees nationwide, ROMTech has been a driving force in job creation, adding over 250 new positions last year alone, including 62 manufacturing jobs in Connecticut. So far in 2024, the company has created more than 100 jobs. ROMTech’s expansion from one assembly line to four underscores its dedication to meeting growing demand and supporting local economies.

Special guests at the event included Benjamin Clapp, Business Services Specialist at Connecticut Labor; Greg Dembowski, Brookfield Economic Development representative; Steve Dunn, First Selectman of Brookfield; Jim Fisher, Chairman of the Economic Development Commission; Martin Foncello, Connecticut State Representative; Steve Harding Jr., Connecticut Senate Minority Leader (unable to attend); Pamela LaRosa, Director of One-Stop Workforce Operations; Kathleen Lindenmayer, Director of the Career Success Center at Western Connecticut State University; and P.J. Prunty, President & CEO of the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce.
