Warehouse Distribution Associate (Chicago, IL & Louisville, KY)

ROMTech is now looking for Warehouse Distribution Specialists for our Chicago, IL and Louisville, KY locations. The Warehouse Distribution Specialist will participate in the distribution, delivery, and storage, of our medical device within the assigned territory. The Warehouse Distribution Specialist is responsible for working closely with our Field Specialists, Customer Service team, end users, and third-party delivery services. The Warehouse Distribution Specialist will also assist with controlling the flow of equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory, and maintenance.

  • This is a full-time position, working out of one of our Warehouse Distribution Facilities and will report directly to the Distribution Manager.
  • Work schedule is Monday – Friday, Chicago: 7:30am – 3:30pm CST & Louisville: 7:30am – 3:30pm EST.
  • We require all new Warehouse Distribution Specialists to travel to one of our training facilities for their first week of employment for hands-on training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize all inventory at the location (finished goods, boxes, PPE, marketing material, equipment, tools, pallets, office supplies, etc.).
  • Assist in coordinating deliveries and pickups with 3rd party carrier(s).
  • Use of all technology platforms.
  • Execute any transfers systematically (into/out of inventory, assign units to patients).
  • Execute physical inventory events and ensure accuracy.
  • Build/disassemble devices.
  • Secure and maintain device records.
  • Clean and test all devices for distribution & returns to inventory.
  • At times may need to execute patient device deliveries & pickups (to include but not limited to, hospitals, residences, group homes, etc.).
  • Comply with any OSHA/FDA/DOT requirements (training provided).
  • Keep distribution center location clean and orderly.
  • Maintain any company delivery vehicles.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Warehousing, distribution, and transportation experience.
  • Previous experience working with inventory, residential deliveries, or other relevant experience.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Self-directed and ability to work without supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
  • Must be willing to travel 75% over a large geographic territory. 
  • Must be able to drive long distances on a frequent basis. Employees must hold a valid US driver’s license and have a safe driving record. 
  • Must be comfortable driving in various weather conditions depending on the region they are working in. This includes exposure to rain, snow, heat, and cold temperatures. Adequate safety measures will be taken.
