Program Manager


ROMTech now seeks an experienced, dynamic and pro-active Program Manager to implement and manage the full lifecycle of software products from requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance for ROMTech’s cardiac program. The Program Manager will interact with key stakeholders from project initiation through the entire development process. The Program Manager will report directly to the Director of IT.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for driving the execution and delivery of highly complex technical programs from start to finish
  • Direct and manage resources, make decisions, solve problems, and maintain budgets and schedules
  • Build strategic relationships with key engineering and business leaders to ensure program success
  • Communicate both vision and details (such as project status and risks to various levels of the organization); persuasion through reasoning and data; and resolution of conflicts over goals, priorities, and approach
  • Communicate with a range of stakeholders from engineers and architects to product managers, physicians, and senior management
  • Responsible for all project domain components, including architecture, tools, and deployment practices; will explain the purpose of component decisions at a high level
  • Forecast project risks proactively; analyze and drive resolution of key project blockers
  • Develop and execute change management and communication plans
  • Conduct post-mortem with team members and appropriate senior management on each phase during the program

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager
  • A love for data and taking chaos and turning it into something actionable
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks, controls, and best practices such
    as: HIPAA, FDA, QSR, and ISO regulations: design controls, document controls, design verification and validation, hazard analysis techniques, and regulatory approval methods
  • Experience in scaled Agile software development with expertise in Scrum methodology and practices.
  • Good understanding of ETL processing, Web Application development cycle, cloud technologies
  • Working knowledge of modern program management, analysis, and reporting tools such as Jira, Confluence, AirTable and Office 365
  • Knowledge of SDLC execution and optimization, data engineering, data modeling, data warehousing and big data platforms
  • Ability to organize and communicate high-level presentations to clients, clinicians, and participating teams, as necessary
  • Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities; an excellent attention to
  • detail. Ability to set direction and prioritize multiple efforts throughout the entire lifecycle
  • High EQ skills; friendly, confident, competent, great communicator, honest, and sincere
  • High sense of ownership and a focus on building fast without sacrificing quality
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Technical Science, or related field
  • PMP Certification a plus
