Becky Manion: I have not been able to turn my knee.

“That’s good.”

Becky Manion: My name is Becky Manion, and I live in Evansville, Indiana. My surgery was total knee replacement, and I needed it because I had arthritis. I had had injections for about three years, and that wasn’t working, so here I am with the new knee.

Mrs. Manion received her knee replacement surgery from Dr. Michael Boyd of Tri-State Orthopaedics

She rehabilitated on the ROMTech PortableConnect

Becky Manion: My experience with the PortableConnect has been absolutely amazing. The thing I enjoyed the most was the fact that I didn’t have to get out of the house. I did this five times a day, and it’s the best thing that anybody could do for your total knee.

Dr. Michael B. Boyd: Mrs. Manion benefited greatly from the PortableConnect.  She had a great speed of recovery. She had to use the device on her own time, in the comfort of her own home, and it helped greatly with getting her range of motion quickly. The speed of her recovery was the most impressive.

Becky Manion: I’m most excited to be able to, number one, walk without any pain. And then I’m also excited to be able to play golf again. That was my main pastime. And just to be able to walk the golf course.

I give Dr. Boyd 90% with his expertise, but I am going to give also 90% to this for my quick recovery. People are amazed at how quickly I have recovered with this.

As ROMTech’s product launch continues, thousands of patients like Mrs. Manion are regaining quality of life faster and with less pain.

Dr. Michael B. Boyd: I think other surgeons should look at adopting the PortableConnect because it allows remote monitoring, which is quite nice, especially in our times of virtual medicine. And also, it’s going to save tremendous money for our healthcare dollars long term.
